Product Review: Ninja Master Food Prep

Wednesday, January 6, 2010

Ok, first I must say that I'm not getting paid a thing to write about this. I actually received this as one of my Christmas gifts from my sister. (Thanks Sam!)

At first, I was unsure what to think. I'd never heard of the Ninja and I felt so out of the loop. She told me that it was similar to my beloved Magic Bullet, but better. I didn't see the individual mugs, so I must admit, I was a bit skeptical.

Well, when Primo was over making homemade marinara, he not only tasked me with dicing the carrots and celery, but I was also in charge of blending everything when complete. Eager to use my new gadget, I happily filled the pitcher to the top and went to town.

Oh-my-gosh! This bad boy packs a serious punch and is MUCH quieter than the Magic Bullet. Plus, the it feels like a much more quality type of plastic and the blades are so sharp. But the thing that knocked this thing out of the park was the SUPER easy clean up. Seriously, I just pulled the parts apart, rinsed, and threw them in the dishwasher and voila, finished. All of the parts stack nicely together and they actually take up the same amount of cabinet space as the Magic Bullet, but with more options for storage and prep.

If you are in search of an all-purpose kitchen utility tool, I would highly, highly recommend the Ninja Master Prep. I'm looking forward to using it every day and running it into the ground much similar to how I did with the Magic Bullet. Here's to hoping it'll last longer than its predecessor. Time will tell.
