Now if in only our bedding arrived today, it would be perfect!! Until then, here's a "naked" view of our new bed:
I resisted all desire to throw myself on it and jump a few times. If I do that, I'll wait until the rest of the family gets home first. :)
By the way, I'm more than impressed with the delivery team from Sears! They were professional, friendly, and super fast. I opened the door, showed them the room. Next thing I know, one guy came in (Juan), set up the bed frame while the other had brought in the box springs. Juan finished the frame set up and was situating the box springs when the other guy carried off the box to the frame and the plastic wrap from the box springs. Then, he alone brought in the king sized mattress to the house, inside to the back where our room is, and ripped off most of the plastic. And he and Juan, in a very familiar dance, gently placed the mattress on top, like a royal on coronation day. That plastic disappeared, I signed the paper and just like that, they were gone. Amazing! WTG Sears!
Cheers to a fabulous night's sleep! I'll let you know how it goes. On a sidenote, I totally want to paint our room another color and redesign it. I've been getting inspiration from La Maison Boheme. You should totally check the blog out if you need some inspiration.

Oh Bianca, CONGRATULATIONS!!! New beds are so fun!! It looks super comfy and I can't wait to see it with the new bedding. The colors remind me of a set my mom made for their room when I was a kid. I always loved that bedding. Have fun on your new cozy bed!
